okay, I’ve got questions:
first things first: this is clearly rehearsing … I doubt they come in bath robes! Or maybe they do … who knows O_O Rehearsing though means: in position, etc- so I think at least the positioning is legit! (otherwise all my questions would kinda be … not necessary)
- why is Sherlock standing where he is standing?
—> best man? usually not next to bride, but on groom’s side
—> walked her to altar? Would the best man do that? Is Sherlock pulling double duty? If he just walked her to the altar.. then why turn away from the priest?
—> Is he “giving her away”? Why? IF he was to “give someone away” it would be John. What is his connection to Mary? How long have they known each other? Or did they hit it off immediately as friends that she is letting him do this? We do know that “Dad” is not around!- Why are they standing the way they are standing?
—> They are turned away from the priest? Why?
—> the priest seems to have stepped to the side as well, so .. after the wedding ceremony (as in - juuust finished)?
—> is this the “we present for the first time Mr. and Mrs. Watson”? Then why the heck is Sherlock in it? If Sherlock as the best man is in it, why not the Maid of Honor?
—> is this photos being taken of the newlyweds (via arlessiar) with “family” - possibly .. posture of them all would indicate that…
—> Is Sherlock the only “family” they both have? Where is Harry? Too drunk to come?- question of perspective maybe: where is the aisle? Looking at the pic- to the left or right? we have “the kiss” pic. “You may now kiss the bride” pic or … “let the guests see the kiss” pic?
—> Church seems to be on the left hand side of pic … so … aisle to the right? Why are there no pictures of them facing the priest then? (all pics from that scene in my roundup here)
conclusion(?) —> …. left the chapel … it is after the ceremony… “representing the couple” moment? That would definitely explain the priest being behind them and their posture for pictures being taken, but where is the maid of honor? She get arrested inbetween? the woman we see in purple is not Yasmin Akram as far as I can tell. Is Sherlock being is in the pic the “family” picture? okay that is heartbreaking.
- but, god damn it … why the matching suits? (usually a tiny bit is different for the groom)
sadly those question can only be answered by the episode (or maybe this week’s spoilercast?)
